On a Tuesday afternoon in Ledyard, Connecticut, on November 2, 2021, the life of 27-year-old Malik S. Nunn was tragically cut short. Just before 2:30 p.m., police responded to a report of a shooting on Robin Lane. Upon arrival, they found Nunn in the road with a gunshot wound to his head. He was rushed to William W. Backus Hospital in Norwich and later transferred to Hartford Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. The Black/African American male's death was ruled a homicide.
