On the evening of December 10, 2020, Marc Glover, a 46-year-old Black male from New Britain, Connecticut, was fatally shot in Hartford. The incident occurred shortly after 9 p.m. near Hollywood Avenue. Officers were dispatched to the scene after a ShotSpotter activation and discovered Glover unresponsive with a gunshot wound. Despite the immediate life-saving efforts of emergency responders, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
