A 27-year-old Hispanic man, Joshua Rivera, was tragically killed in a senseless act of violence in New Haven, Connecticut. On the night of June 1, 2017, Rivera was in his living room on Greenwood Street, immersed in one of his favorite pastimes: playing video games. It was a peaceful evening that was shattered when a stray bullet from outside pierced through the window of his home and struck him.
Emergency services were called to the scene, and Rivera was rushed to Yale New Haven Hospital
