On the evening of May 10, 2002, a chaotic scene unfolded on Center Street in Hartford, Connecticut, as a large brawl, with as many as 50 people involved, erupted. In the midst of the turmoil, 25-year-old Hispanic male Harry Baez stepped in to help a friend. It was a decision that tragically cost him his life.
