On the evening of September 12, 1985, Carmen Deluca, a 23-year-old White male, was working the night shift as the manager of the Gas & Save station in East Windsor, Connecticut. A customer discovered him fatally shot inside the station's temporary office trailer at 163 Bridge Street. Investigators believe the motive was robbery, though there were no witnesses to the crime itself. Deluca, a resident of Agawam, Massachusetts, was engaged to be married at the time of his death.
