In the summer of 2006, the life of Michelle Ann White, a 23-year-old White/Caucasian woman from Bettendorf, Iowa, was tragically cut short. On July 22nd, police responded to a call of shots fired and discovered Michelle with a gunshot wound. Despite being airlifted to a hospital for medical attention, she ultimately succumbed to her injuries. The promising life of the young mother, a 2001 graduate of Bettendorf High School who had recently graduated with honors from Kaplan University, was over.
