In the fall of 2015, the life of 28-year-old Isaiah Roquemore was cut short in a sudden act of violence in Denver, Colorado. On the evening of October 15th, Roquemore was inside an apartment in the 7100 block of East Mississippi Avenue with another man, Virgil Robinson. The two were reportedly watching a football game with a third individual they knew as Najib Abdinasir Mahamoud. Without warning, Mahamoud opened fire with a shotgun, striking both Roquemore and Robinson.
