In the late summer of 2014, the life of 25-year-old Cdario Laparker Burns was tragically cut short in a North Las Vegas neighborhood. On the evening of August 24th, gunshots shattered the peace, and when authorities arrived, they found Burns with fatal wounds. He was pronounced dead shortly after the incident, leaving a community in shock and a family to grieve a life taken too soon. Burns, a U.S. Air Force veteran, was remembered in an obituary as a father, a son, and a brother.
