On a Friday evening in Washington, D.C., the life of 56-year-old Marcos Christobal Brooks was brought to a tragic and violent end. It was around 9:00 p.m. on September 18, 2020, in the rear of the 2300 block of Ainger Place, SE, when the sound of gunshots shattered the night.
