On December 5, 2019, the life of 24-year-old Christopher Young, a White/Caucasian male from Junction City, Kansas, was tragically cut short in what authorities have described as a murder-suicide. The chain of events began when Junction City police were dispatched to a local residence to investigate a potential kidnapping and a violation of a protection order.
At the scene, it was reported that 27-year-old Zachary Lima, an active-duty soldier from Fort Riley, had forcibly entered the home.
