In the early afternoon of November 14, 2015, the lives of two young men were tragically cut short in Kansas City, Kansas. Laron J. Grant, a 21-year-old Black / African American male, was fatally shot in what police would identify as a double homicide. The incident unfolded just after 1 p.m. in the 1300 block of North Fourth Street, a street that would become the scene of a lingering mystery and a family's unending grief.
