In the early hours of a Friday morning in July 2021, a dispute near Powderhorn Park in Minneapolis escalated to a fatal conclusion. Tyrone Washington, a 53-year-old Black man from Cass Lake, was involved in an argument near the intersection of 12th Avenue South and Lake Street.
