In the early hours of a cold Wednesday morning, just two days before Christmas in 2020, the life of 23-year-old Keithshon Daquan Lamarr Fairley, a Black male from St. Paul, was tragically cut short in the Seward neighborhood of Minneapolis. Shortly before 1 a.m. on December 23, the sound of gunfire pierced the quiet of the 2000 block of 28th Avenue South. When Minneapolis police officers arrived at the scene, they discovered Fairley inside a parked car, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
