Oscar Marquez, aged 17, was shot and killed on February 16, 2013, in Chicago's Little Village neighborhood. The shooting occurred in the vicinity of South Western Avenue and West Cermak Road at approximately 6:15 p.m. Oscar and an 18-year-old friend were sitting inside a vehicle when a gunman approached them, exiting another vehicle, and opened fire.
