In the autumn of 2021, the life of 19-year-old Demone Lee Cook Jr. was tragically cut short in Louisville, Kentucky. On the evening of October 27th, in the Portland neighborhood, a violent encounter unfolded that would leave one young man dead and a woman seriously injured. The incident, a double shooting, occurred in the 3400 block of Northwestern Parkway.
