In the spring of 2021, the life of Jessica Abernathy-Jones, a 31-year-old Black female from Louisville, Kentucky, was tragically cut short. On May 24th, she was found deceased in her residence at 2301 Terrier Court, the victim of a fatal shooting. The discovery of her body prompted an outpouring of grief from her family and friends, who remembered her as a loving mother.
In the days following the discovery, questions and concerns arose regarding the circumstances leading up to her death.
