In the crisp autumn air of a Wednesday evening in Beloit, Wisconsin, the life of 19-year-old Enrique Ramirez, a Hispanic male, was cut tragically short. On October 23, 2019, while riding in a car, he was struck by multiple gunshots in what authorities would later suggest was not a random act of violence. The shooting occurred on the 1200 block of Vine Street, and the young man was rushed to a hospital in nearby Janesville, but his injuries proved to be fatal.
