On a Wednesday in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the life of Anton R. Gillon, a 27-year-old Black / African American male, was tragically cut short. On September 28, 2016, Gillon was shot and killed outside a residence in the 1900 block of W. Fairmount Avenue, near Lincoln Park. The following day, police identified him as the victim of the homicide. Remembered fondly by friends and family who affectionately called him "Sauce," his death left a significant void in his community.
