In the summer of 2022, a wave of violence struck the small city of Altus, Oklahoma, leaving two teenagers dead and a community in shock. On Saturday, June 18, police were called to an area near Newland Drive after receiving multiple reports of gunshots. Upon their arrival, they discovered the body of 18-year-old Steven Jackson.
