Amanda Thompson, a 32-year-old White/Caucasian woman, was killed late on September 30, 2020, during a violent home invasion at an apartment in southwest Oklahoma City. Police were called shortly after 11 p.m. to the area near Southwest 59th Street and South May Avenue. Investigators said three people forced their way into the apartment by kicking in the door and immediately began firing. Thompson was struck by the gunfire and was pronounced dead at the scene.
