Marquez Hykeem Lindsey, a 24-year-old Black male, tragically lost his life on June 9, 2022, in Canton, Mississippi. The young man, known for his passion for music, cooking, and cars, was fatally shot multiple times at a residence on Whisper Ridge Avenue. Despite being rushed to the University of Mississippi Medical Center, he succumbed to his injuries. The incident left his family and community mourning the sudden and violent loss of a man remembered for the joy he brought to their lives.
