In the early morning hours of June 24, 2021, the quiet of an Aberdeen, Mississippi neighborhood was broken by a fatal act of violence that claimed the life of 27-year-old Jamie Smith Young. A male, Young was inside his home on North Matubba Street when the incident occurred.
