In the late evening hours of February 13, 2017, the city of Clarksdale, Mississippi, became the scene of a brutal crime that claimed the life of 32-year-old Earl Baines. The male victim was discovered at the intersection of East Tallahatchie Street and Hicks Street around 6:45 p.m., having been shot multiple times and subsequently struck by a vehicle.
