On the evening of September 30, 2022, 18-year-old Ty Michael Hale, a resident of Eastpointe, Michigan, was involved in a fatal encounter that began as a traffic dispute. Hale, a young father of two children, was operating a minibike near the intersection of Stricker and David Avenues when the incident occurred.
