In the evening hours of September 13, 2022, Dominick Ramon Hopson, a 32-year-old Black / African American male from Lansing, Michigan, was fatally shot. The incident occurred in the 100 block of East Barnes Avenue. Officers from the Lansing Police Department were dispatched to the area around 8:20 p.m. following reports of gunfire.
