In the late evening hours of April 18, 2022, the life of Junius Evans, a 20-year-old Black male, was tragically cut short in Muskegon, Michigan. Police were dispatched to an apartment located in the 400 block of Glen Oaks Drive around 10:22 p.m. where they discovered Evans unresponsive. He had sustained a fatal gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.
