On November 30, 2021, a mass shooting occurred at Oxford High School in Oxford Township, Michigan. The perpetrator, 15-year-old Ethan Crumbley, a sophomore at the school, opened fire with a 9mm SIG Sauer SP 2022 semi-automatic pistol.
