In the summer of 2014, a senseless argument over something as trivial as broken glass in a road escalated into a fatal encounter for Timothy Belisle. The 43-year-old man was shot and killed on August 7, 2014, at the Americana Estates mobile home park in Casco Township, Michigan, a community situated about 35 miles northeast of Detroit. The dispute, which centered on trash in the roadway, tragically ended with Belisle losing his life.
