In the early hours of a Friday morning in Trenton, New Jersey, a life was tragically cut short. Jeff Louis-Charles, a 37-year-old Black male, was found unresponsive inside a residence on Race Street. Police had been dispatched to the home around 12:53 a.m. on September 17, 2021, where they discovered Louis-Charles suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite the efforts of first responders, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
