On the evening of October 11, 2020, 19-year-old Javon Cutler was fatally shot in Toms River, New Jersey. Cutler, a resident of Bayville and a 2019 graduate of Central Regional High School, was a passenger in a vehicle with two friends, leaving the Toms River Apartments on Main Street at approximately 8:15 p.m. when an individual opened fire on their car. Cutler, who was seated in the rear, was struck in the head by a gunshot.
