In the autumn of 2020, a life was tragically cut short on the streets of Newark, New Jersey. Eighteen-year-old Lester Ingram, a male from Kingston, Pennsylvania, was fatally shot on the afternoon of Thursday, October 8, 2020. The incident occurred at approximately 3:05 p.m. on Vine Street, where Ingram was pronounced dead at the scene by 3:30 p.m. One source identified the victim as a Black/African American male.
