Caseymae Smith, a 19-year-old resident of Richmond, Virginia, tragically lost her life on December 9, 2022. She was identified as the victim of a fatal shooting that occurred on Richmond's Southside. On the evening of December 9, just after 7 p.m., officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 2400 block of Ruffin Road. Upon arrival, they found Caseymae Smith suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite their efforts, she was pronounced dead at the scene.
