Amaru Amin Shabazz, a 37-year-old resident of Leesburg, Virginia, was tragically shot and killed on February 21, 2022, in a townhome located in Centreville, Virginia. The incident occurred in the 14800 block of Bodley Square, where Shabazz was visiting at the time. According to police reports, an altercation broke out inside the home, leading to Shabazz being shot multiple times. The Fairfax County Fire and Rescue personnel pronounced him dead at the scene.
