Troy Barnett Jr., a 20-year-old resident of Stafford, Virginia, tragically lost his life on July 3, 2019. Troy was known for his kindhearted nature, intelligence, and talent. He was a beloved friend and family member, deeply missed by those who knew him. On the night of his death, Troy was shot outside the 5 Twelve convenience store on Garrisonville Road. The incident also resulted in the injury of an 18-year-old woman, Laura Guadalupe Gomez-De La Cruz, who was with him at the time.
