In the winter of 2019, a domestic dispute in a Hampton, Virginia apartment escalated to a fatal conclusion, claiming the life of 23-year-old Amber Greenidge. On the afternoon of January 20th, Hampton Police responded to a call, initially reported as a stabbing, at the Cambridge Apartments on Goldsboro Drive.
