Gabriel Ryan Maness, a 34-year-old Army veteran, tragically lost his life on April 17, 2016, in Williamsburg, VA. Maness was shot multiple times while shopping at a Farm Fresh grocery store in Norge, a community within James City County. The incident occurred around 8 a.m. when Maness was purchasing doughnuts for his family, a routine he cherished. He was shot five times and succumbed to his injuries before the police arrived.
