Travis Putnam, a 17-year-old from Winchester, Virginia, tragically lost his life on October 5, 2006. He was a junior at James Wood High School and a member of Bethany Hill Baptist Church. On that fateful day, Travis was shot and killed along with his 60-year-old grandfather, Samuel Orndorff, his 19-year-old aunt, Amanda Orndorff, and his 23-month-old cousin, Christopher Orndorff. The perpetrator of this horrific crime was identified as Jessi Ashton Jephson, Amanda's boyfriend.
