In February of 1989, the life of 26-year-old Walter Noonie Custer, a male resident of Shenandoah County, Virginia, was tragically cut short in what would become a multi-victim homicide. Custer was discovered in an apple orchard, the first victim in a string of violent acts committed by his roommate, Dennis Wayne Eaton, who was 32 at the time.
