On October 3, 1978, Ida Mae Moses, often referred to as 'Baby Moses,' was tragically murdered in her home in Ironto, Virginia. Ida Mae Moses was eight and a half months pregnant at the time of her death. The perpetrator, Buddy Earl Justus, broke into her double-wide trailer, where he brutally raped and murdered her. Justus shot Moses in the head, ending her life and that of her unborn child.
