Anthony D. Carter, a 28-year-old resident of Indianapolis, Indiana, tragically passed away on August 18, 2021. The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department responded to a report of shots fired on the near northwest side of the city early that morning. Upon arrival, officers found Carter critically injured from gunshot wounds. He was transported to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
