On a late summer evening in Indianapolis, the life of Odell Berry Jr. was tragically cut short. On Monday, August 20, 2018, the 36-year-old Black male was found shot on North Lasalle Street. The incident occurred around 9:55 p.m., and when authorities arrived, they found Berry with a fatal gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Originally from Indianapolis, Odell Berry Jr. was a father and was remembered by friends and family for his infectious smile and great sense of humor.
