In the late hours of a Saturday night in Indianapolis, 47-year-old tow truck driver Steve Deputy was going about his work, a familiar routine in a city he called home. On November 11, 2017, while on a job at the Capital Place Apartments on the city's south side, his life was tragically cut short. Police were called to the scene to find Mr. Deputy, a male, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was found lying on the ground next to his tow truck and the vehicle he was there to repossess.
