In what began as a domestic argument, 38-year-old Allen DeWayne Bolton Jr. was shot and killed in a Fort Wayne, Indiana hotel room on April 12, 2017. The incident, which took place at the Ramada Inn on Washington Center Road, tragically unfolded in front of the couple's 10-year-old son.
During the course of an argument between Bolton and his girlfriend, Natasha Reed, a gun reportedly fell out of a bag Bolton had shaken. Reed then grabbed the firearm and shot Bolton, leading to his death.
