In the late hours of a Sunday evening in Kansas City, Missouri, the life of 31-year-old Kameela Joi Brown was tragically cut short. On October 2, 2022, officers responded to a call at approximately 11:15 p.m. in the 4400 block of Monroe Avenue. There, they discovered Kameela suffering from gunshot wounds.
