Shavay Davis, a 29-year-old Black woman, was the victim of a fatal shooting discovered on the morning of September 19, 2022, in the Greater Ville neighborhood of St. Louis, Missouri. Homicide detectives were dispatched to a residence in the 4000 block of Lexington Avenue around 10:00 a.m. following a call for help. Upon entering the home, officers found Davis deceased in her bed, having suffered a fatal gunshot wound to the head.
