In the early morning hours of November 7, 2023, the body of 55-year-old Terrance Taylor, a male, was discovered in an alley in the 3200 block of Oregon Avenue in the Benton Park West neighborhood of St. Louis. First responders were called to the scene at approximately 2:17 a.m. regarding a body on fire. After extinguishing several small fires, they found Taylor deceased.
The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department quickly deemed the death intentional and launched a homicide investigation
