On the evening of April 7, 2022, a violent incident occurred in the residential neighborhood of Moline Acres in St. Louis County, Missouri, resulting in the death of 38-year-old Eric Harris. Officers from the Moline Acres Police Department were dispatched to the 9700 block of Lanier Drive approximately fifteen minutes before 5:00 p.m. following reports of a shooting. Upon their arrival at the scene, law enforcement discovered Harris suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
