On October 6, 2014, the body of an unidentified male, later named Robert Vega, was discovered floating in the Chicago River. The circumstances surrounding his death remain unclear, and despite efforts to identify and claim him, the case has remained unresolved for years. The discovery of his body prompted an investigation by local authorities, but no immediate connections to family or acquaintances could be established.
