On February 20, 2026, the body of 76-year-old Joseph Patrick McGivney was discovered in his residence in Gig Harbor, Washington. The Pierce County Medical Examiner's Office, responsible for conducting the investigation, determined that McGivney died of natural causes. Despite their efforts, the office has been unsuccessful in locating any family members or friends who could potentially claim his remains.
