On December 11, 2025, the body of an unidentified male was found in Gardena, California. The individual, later identified as Eliseo Villegas Romo, was residing in a long-term care facility before being transported to a hospital, where he was subsequently pronounced deceased. Despite efforts to locate next of kin or any known family members, Mr. Romo remains an unclaimed person, with no immediate relatives found to take responsibility for his arrangements.
